Today I am thrilled to showcase a business who use blogging in a really personal and effective way for outreaching to clients and photographers alike. I have been signed up to their emails for a couple of years and always admire what boudoir photographers Faby and Carleo produce in terms of engaging and interesting content.
I caught up with them to ask about their top tips for blogging for their photography business.
Tell us a little about your business
Our photographic origin was in Street Photography and Fashion editorial, both of which we actively pursue, the first on a personal level, the second through our “fashion division” The Round Peg photography http://theroundpeg.com
Faby and Carlo was born with the name of London Boudoir Photography three years ago and has grown massively in this period. Starting from a market that did not know what “Boudoir” means, we steered our boutique studio through the stylistic changes that are coming to the UK. We consider ourselves a “Boutique Studio” because we focus on a limited number of customers in which we invest a lot of time and dedication. We say that we offer an Experience that is way bigger than a photo shoot as it is a re-discovery of your femininity, be it for a Boudoir or a Portrait session. On the other side, we focus on providing photography workshops and mentoring to “up and coming” photographers, passing them what we learned so far, and that placed us in one, if not the, top spot of boudoir photographers in London. I write for a number of blogs and publications. As well as obviously for enjoyment here on Dex Diva and the Mini Divas and for business over on Cherry Sorbet, I have a number of clients that I write for on a weekly basis.
