I wrote an article last week on Graphic Design.com to a poll question I raised a few weeks ago.
In the current economic climate, do designers need a degree, or is it superfluous? I did my BA in 2 -dimensional design, then worked for 5 years before commencing an MA in Design Management as a part time course. Both courses helped me enormously, but then I am a geek and adore studying. Also, fees were not as astronomical as they are now, and the job market was quite different.
I love the infographic which accompanies the poll results, crafted by the team at Killer Infographics.
