Pain management is one of the main factors in which Western medicine manages endometriosis. Where pain cannot be eradicated it is “managed”, and a cocktail of pharmaceuticals issued to numb the nerves and make life liveable.

Summer rain and a superhuman run

Yesterday I went for a run in the evening.
I hadn’t run since Wednesday so my legs had plenty of rest; as I went out there, earphones in a music playing for the very first time ever I FELT LIKE A RUNNER.
I had power, I was running faster than before, I was in the ‘zone’, motoring along and loving it. I did 5.4 miles, and would have made this my long run of the week and gone for 8 miles had it not been getting dark and therefore pretty dangerous to be out alone down country tracks.
