I love this idea.
Leia Lingerie, from the lovely people at Eveden who are behind Freya and Fauve, have launched a hint dropper app in time for Christmas. I work with Freya on their Fitting Talk blog as one of the panel of bloggers, a job I love particularly as I get to wear and try lots of beautiful Freya lingerie which is made for curvy fashion loving ladies – hop on over and you will find my ugly mug gracing the pages.
Christmas can be a prime time for dodgy jumpers, bad perfume and badly fitting underwear so Leia have come up with a helping hand for us girls to drop unsubtle hints and make sure we not only get gifts that we love, but that fit beautifully too.
The hint dropper app in Leia’s Facebook page lets you choose some lovely lingerie, in the right size for you, then emails your partner some unsubtle hints.
I might ask Santa if I can look like the models for Xmas. A tall order for the elves methinks…
So here’s a little list of things I have been writing away from this here blogette last week:
✎ A post on Blurgroup about the Huffington Post not paying bloggers.
✎ I asked if Going Viral is the new Marketing Myopia
✎ I talked about why brands should be investing in design over on Cherry Sorbet.
✎ I shared my love of instagram and why fashion and beauty brands should be using it.
✎ I also looked at Nike’s Make it Count campaign over on GraphicDesign.com which will be up later this week.
Want me to blog for you? Give me a shout over on the contact page.;)
Oh. My. Goodness.
I have now come across a new website to lust after and just had to share it with you.

Last week I popped along to 28 Portland Place to have a nose at the SS12 collection from Eveden, and dribble over beautiful lingerie. With the Mini Divas in attendance too (they recommended highly the chocolate brownies at the launch) it was amazing to have a sneak peek at the luscious large cup lingerie we will all be sporting next season.
I was particularly in love with the range of 20′s and 50′s inspired fabric prints on the forthcoming ranges, there is a real sense of pattern and vintage references.

…..and I quite liked it.
My usual mum/working from home uniform of jeans and a t-shirt got changed for a folky skirt and stripey top.
I am still a curvy chick, but my legs now have muscles from the Team Bangs on the Run training, and the weight is going. Slowly.
At the very least I have some confidence back. One step at a time. Literally.
Skirt: Prodigy Red Top: People Tree
The lovely people at Prodigy Red sent me the skirt.
Right, I have found my Summer uniform. I doubted whether a 34 year old Mumma should wear jumpsuits but dammit I am now the proud owner of a fab denim embroidered jumpsuit by the fabulous Prodigy Red, and I refuse to wear anything else this season of hotness!
So far it has seen me through a Bank Holiday at the park with the kids, out and about for dinner, mooching around town and pretty much everything in between.
I love that it can be dressed up with heels for a chilled summer evening drinking vino by the river, or dressed down for a day with the kids running about in the park. The best bit is that there is a teeny air of Flashdance about it. And I like that, perhaps a little too much
Cue Van Halen.
So, the smugness you see at 2:17 when he does the solo on every instrument is how I feel about my l’il jumpsuit. You will never see a denim jumpsuit the same way again….
