Well hellooooo there Diva readers. It’s midweek (kind of) so here is a round up of stuff. Just…stuff. ❤ First up, Brighton based Dolly Dagger are rocking my world with these beautiful contrasting legged numbers. You may remember I wore a Dolly Dagger Cherry Dress to my rock star bro’s wedding? I am in love with the brand so check out the site. ❤ Sticking with Brighton for a moment, my urge to live there was made more acute this week when I discovered the existence of Super + Super, a gorgeous co-working space that curates workshops on online stuff as well as crafting etc. I dream of a place like this. Let me know if you check it out ❤ Beautiful book publishers Taschen have made fairy tales come to life digitally. I love the concept of this 9 Fairytales of the Brothers Grimm available for iPhone and iPad – each story has gorgeous illustrated images and animations for mini people and adults alike to enjoy. ❤ This week I opened registration for my Freelance Mum Survival ecourse. You can also sign up for my free videos, tips and resources on Freelancemumsurvival.com ❤ I will leave you with a bit of Mini Diva artwork….enjoy the rest of your week!

Diva goes Diva and cuts a track…badly
Posted on: Monday, January 28, 2013

What happens if you put me and my brothers in a recording studio on a cold snowy Friday? Well, we record a track. Badly. But have an absolutely brilliant time, thank you very much.
Last Friday I popped along to a recording studio in Cambridge with my two awesome brothers, Matt and Tim, (see our happy faces above – ahhh sibling love) for a Last Minute.com experience of recording a single. Now, we had a track that my bro’s and I, inexplicably, liked to sing when very very drunk a few years ago, by Aaron Neville and Linda Rondstadt, ” I don’t know much”. Know it? 80′s kids may have a little recollection. Anyway, we chose that one, killed it sonically and tested the patience of a totally lovely sound engineer by crooning and wailing whilst doing air guitar in the sound booth.
I totally forgot he could see us on the monitor screen. Oops.

We had SUCH a funny afternoon; we popped for a cheeky port before our session, cracked out a tune, and went out for a few jars absolutely grinning from having had such a laugh. I totally recommend cutting a track as an awesome time out with friends for a change of activity.
My outing was in association with British Gas and my Smart Homes Remote Control Heating app. I must say driving back in the snow towards home it was lovely to be able to re-set my heating remotely to allow it to warm up enough to be nice and toasty for my return. The Mini Divas are not impressed by my artistry. Tough crowd….
So…..what now?!

Last Sunday I ran the Nike Run to the Beat with my Team Bangs ladies.
I have been training for this event since May, as those of you who followed my progress will know.
It has been a really, really busy Summer. Since July it has been non-stop with house move, hen party organising, training, wedding and family stuff, then half marathon. Suddenly, my weekends are empty. Read More >
