Episode #12: The working day of a real entrepreneur

Myth (and social media legend) would have it that solopreneurs are all rising at 5am, green juice in hand before making a million in one email and kicking back on the beach.

Is that the reality for the rest of us? In this show, I bust the myth and share my day.

Oh my, it’s 4 in the AM here in America and I was having the shittiest day, fell asleep with an awful migraine and am now wide awake; not in a mood to go to studio and work, TV is boring, so not in a mood to read a book so I am just wide awake. Instead i decide to internet troll…ha…and find your site then your podcasts.

This particular podcast hit the nail on the head for me in so many ways (I believe in fate so must have been destined to find you this way). I’m a solopreneur working my ass off to do something positive, make a bit of money all while doing my creative thing, After weeks of concentrated work (and still more work to do to get things running), the last few days have been yucky and funky and blah.

Listening to you talk about the realities of a soloprenuer’s life has me realizing that I need to slow down and enjoy the process of creating my business around my life. It will not always be pretty, nor will I always have the energy to do all I need to do but to remember in this moment that that is okay is what i needed to hear. So thanks. I’m still wide awake but in a much better frame of mind.

Btw…gonna steal your idea of working in chunks of time so that I can fit in the meditation I want to do more of and that exercise that I put off to get work done in the studio and …… you get the pic.

    Nice to meet ya Jo!
