So, it’s not often I get to say this, but I AM GOING TO NEW YORK in 2 weeks time, hurrah! I won fights from an  Endometriosis UK Raffle ( which I am taking as karmic payback for my 15 years of pain;)), so my friend Michelle and I are off for 3 days to mooch, get excited about diners and take lots of piccies.

I am starting think about what to take, and my essentials include ❤ my Macbook, to Skype my babies and to report back when waiting in airports etc ❤ my Nikon D40 for street snaps ❤ my new Freya Nina set (well, a girl has to have some foxy lingerie under those tourist togs  - Gala would be proud!❤ Hed Kandi Discothèque Headphones for the flight, brilliant and lightweight for tuning into the High Tea Podcast that I need to catch up on! ❤ Trevor Sorbie’s travel range of smoothing and frizz free products to stop the winter rain making my hair go crazy on the tourist walkabout ❤ these funky Tweezerman Harajuku tweezers designed by Gwen Stefani – I love using time on a flight to have a mini eyebrow groom session, it takes away the onus from my jingly jangly flight nerves! ❤ a couple of Ruby Hammer recommends Smudge and Shade eye crayons in dual colour – perfect for travelling and carrying a range of colours which won’t get crushed in baggage hold! These are great for a mum with twins who juggles work and attempting to look good….❤ my Anna Sui perfume ❤ my current read The Creative Habit: Learn It and Use It for Life (with thanks to Danielle Meder for recommendation) ❤ my Nike X trainers for walking the city ❤ my JOTTRR, of course! ❤ the lovely Gala Darling‘s guide to New York – Gala is without doubt one of my favourite bloggers and this guide to NYC is a great insight to her city.
