Some time ago the lovely Anne-Marie from No Bull Communications responded to one of my endo pain tweets offering to send one of these for me to try.
Mn8 is a really interesting idea for working with period pains and endometriosis. A drug-free option, it works on magnetic therapy, and is a small, static magnet device which attaches discreetly to your underwear while it works it’s magic (essentially it’s an ACTUAL fanny magnet, which caused Mr Diva and I rather a lot of belly laughs….)
I did trial the Mn8 for around 3 weeks. Longer is recommended for endometriosis ladies, but for me I noticed a distinct correlation with increased mood swings and starting to use it. It has to be said that I think it’s because I have the Mirena Coil in place, so side effects of the coil were amplified; not pleasant. However, as it was definitely emanating a force field of sorts I have no doubt that it is worth a go for anyone really struggling with endo and period pains.
For “normal” period pains wear the Mn8 a couple of days before your period, during, and a couple of days after. For endometriosis you ar recommended to wear continuously.
It is a shame that for me, with the Mirena coil in place, it wasn’t a great option. However, I would absolutely recommend any ladies suffering to give it a go. At just £20 it’s an option you owe it to yourself to try.

Thanks for the review, as I have a Mirena too I guess I’d better not try it though
