This weekend I have been having a ball.
A vintage afternoon tea party with coloured wigs and pimms kick started the hen do for my lovely sister to be this weekend, followed by champagne and punting in Cambridge. I often forget how beautiful the city is, and it reminded me that being a tourist where you live is often a great way to see things in a new light. An amazing Algerian restaurant finished the evening,(the Bedouin Bar in Cambridge – definitely check it out!) and I can confirm that coffee with rose water is luscious – and much needed after too much champagne.
Another tea party today with my brother and other sis in law to be – I have been so spoiled with amazing baking skills and fab times with my lovely friends and family.
What a great way to spend a weekend.
